A few things to note

• This is really old. However, it still has historical value as an example of what not to do.
• FA has most certainly evolved from this state.
• Then again, they haven't had a significant rewrite, so a lot of the old design mistakes from this shit are probably still there.
• There was some bloviating nonsense about GPL; that appears to no longer be of importance, so I removed it.
