First, the owner of the FurAffinity forum has no obligation to do or not do anything for the users, as he was never paid to perform any services.

Second, the job of the staff of the FurAffinity forum is simply to run it by the rules that were expressed. Transparency was never required of them. It usually isn't of anyone who runs an Internet forum.

I would also object to saying that anyone has been less than truthful, with the exception of The Rat Who Always Lies. Behind-the-scenes decisions are going to be made everywhere, no matter what.

And come on, with a name like The Rat Who Always Lies, you know what to expect.

What I often wonder is, if the posters in this thread are so unhappy here, why don't they just go to another forum and leave the people who are happy to stay? It's not like it's hard to make a forum.

I honestly would rather not have to move to dA because of its stupid weeaboos, stuck-up artists (there's more there than on FA), and the constant drama that the entire site loves to bring. All that site has to offer is shitty photography, ugly girls trying to be sluts, and constant erasing and banning of furry art. I don't know about Sofurry or Inkbunny, so I can't say anything.

We need a fucking change, right here, on FurAffinity. It's time to fess up, get shit done, get a coder who knows what they're fucking doing, and stop with the excuses. I like this site, I really do, but for six years it's been nothing but bullshit. I don't care who's to blame; I care why these things keep happening and why no one's done a thing to try and fix it. WE NEED BETTER CODERS. WE NEED MORE INFORMED ADMINS. WE NEED ANSWERS.

I will say this: I can at least give credit to the admins for even bothering to keep up this website at all regardless of the people complaining about obvious, unfixed problems.
